Growing Consumer Awareness and Market Dynamics

Growing consumer awareness, changing regulations, and the demand for sustainable products are all contributing to the development of the hemp industry and its rapid growth (Mark & Will, 2019). Hemp-based goods, such as hemp textiles, hempcrete, and CBD oil, can be commercialised in a wide array of markets (See section 2.4.1, 2.4.2. and 2.5.5). With increasing awareness of sustainability, hemp products are becoming more popular in various sectors, opening new business prospects for growers, producers, and entrepreneurs (Naeem et al., 2023) (see section 4.3 for more information in this regard).
