Active participation in sectoral policies and interest groups is essential. This engagement should occur at local, national, and European levels. Being involved in discussions, attending industry conferences, and participating in working groups can foster valuable connections and provide insights into market and regulatory developments.

Such networking opportunities are crucial for gathering information, especially in a volatile economy and a growing, yet still small, sector like hemp. The time and effort invested in these activities are often rewarded with better market positioning and access to critical resources and future regulatory changes.

Every year the EIHA organises a three-day Conference where information is shared regarding the regulatory aspects and market dynamics. It is the occasion for the European and global hemp industry to gather in person and discuss business.
